Andros South
Andros South is a fly fishing lodge for fly fishing nuts! Located at the settlement of Kemp’s Bay on the eastern shore of south Andros Island, Andros South is a fly fishing destination for those who put quality fishing at the top of their travel lists. Andros Island has long been regarded as one of the top destinations for trophy bonefish; it is the largest island in the Bahamas chain as well as the least populated. With its location on the eastern shore, the lodge is relatively close to the Tongue of the Ocean, a deep trough that drops down 5,000 feet very close to shore, and is the third largest reef in the world. This geography combined with a host of tidal 
creeks and inland flats makes for an incredibly diverse fishery that holds grounds for both the wade fisherman and the boat fisherman.The Fishing
The options are seemingly endless. Andros South offers miles of picture perfect, white sand flats for easy wading and shots at tremendous schools of bonefish in the 2-4 pound range. For larger singles and doubles, guests can fish any number of mangrove creeks, or shoot for the monster bonefish found on the ocean side flats. As is the case with most Bahamian fishing, bonefish are king; however, 15-30 pound permit are fished to and caught as well as migratory and resident tarpon in the creeks, often ranging from 40 to 100 pounds. Sharks, cuda, jacks, and snapper all make for great sport on a fly rod and can be caught with right equipment at the ready. To further the idea that Andros South can offer unique and different fly fishing experiences daily, Andros South offers a fantastic and extensive blue water fishing program. Anglers can seek tuna, marlin, dorado, wahoo and sail fish with a fly or bait.

Andros South makes no effort to hide the fact the focus is on the fishing; yet that doesn’t mean the lodging and accommodations lacks in any sense. While there is certainly no fine china or personal valets at Andros South, the land experience only compliments the fishing experience. The rooms are tidy, neat and air conditioned each with a private bath and each guest gets their own room! Meals include the freshest seafood, from lobster to fish to conch as well as delicious servings of jerk chicken and ribs.
For evenings that require a little bit of celebration, the lodge has its own Tiki Bar, The Slack Tide, offering fantastic ocean views, a calming breeze and a cool drink.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Travel Information for Andros South
Andros South is a 20-minute drive from the airport in Congo Town on South Andros. There are several options for flying into Congo Town.
Western Air
The most popular option for reaching our island is Western Air. Western operates two flights each day from nearby Nassau. Western flights work perfectly with our schedule. These flights depart Nassau at 7:00 am and 3:15 pm daily and take 20 minutes. The flights return back to Nassau at 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Reservations can be made with Western Air at (242) 377-2222.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Western Air accepts only cash for payment. When checking in with Western Air in Nassau, you will need $140 in cash, either US or Bahamian ($1 US = $1 Bahamian), to pay for your round-trip ticket.
Watermakers Air
Watermakers Air is a seat fare option offering flights between the US and Congo Town with direct, nonstop flights multiple times per week between Fort Lauderdale and Congo Town.
Watermakers operates from the centrally located Fort Lauderdale Executive airport, allowing for easy connections with flights within the United States. Outbound guests clear US Customs in Fort Lauderdale, which is typically a smooth process.

Private Charters
Groups of more than 6 persons may also consider a private charter from Ft. Lauderdale. We work with several charter companies in Ft. Lauderdale and would be happy to work with you on a charter.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms and Conditions/Cancellation and Refund Policies
Once Castafly Travel, LLC receives a deposit or final payment for any type of trip, it is anacknowledgment and agreement by the client to all Terms and Conditions and Cancellation and Refund policies:
Non-refundable deposits and payment.
Your payment for a trip is non-refundable, regardless of the means for payment, be it credit card, cash or check.
Deposits
Unless otherwise noted by the vendor,- 50% of the total package price per angler/trip package is due to Castafly Travel, LLC within 14 days of initial booking. This deposit will secure all reservations.
- The balance or full payment of package price per angler/trip package is due to Castafly Travel, LLC at least 90 days before first day of scheduled trip
- Castafly Travel, LLC reseves the right to charge a service fee of $100 for any changes to the reservation after initial booking.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Unless otherwised noted by the vendor,- All cancellations for any type of trip must be made in writing to Castafly Travel, LLC. Castafly Travel, LLC reserves the right to charge a service fee of $100 for any cancellations of any type of reservation.
- Cancellation outside of 90 days prior to scheduled departure – 90% of deposit or payment refund or transfer of funds to another scheduled time or another angler.
- Cancellation between 60 and 90 days prior to scheduled departure - 70% of deposit or payment refund or transfer of funds to another scheduled time or another angler.
- Cancellation between 30 and 60 days prior to scheduled departure – 60% of deposit or payment refund or transfer of funds to another scheduled time or another angler.
- Cancellation 30 days or less prior to scheduled departure – No refund of deposit or final payment.
Because your deposit and other payment is non-refundable, Castafly Travel, LLC suggests you consider trip and medical evacuation insurance. This insurance is the best way to avoid losing your deposit due to unanticipated circumstances or emergencies. Because Castafly Travel, LLC has no ability to control your deposit onceit is forwarded to the respective lodge, outfitter, etc., we have developed a relationship with Sportsman’s Travel Insurance.
We also recommend trip evacuation/rescue insurance with Global Rescue, a medical and security evacuation service. We strongly urge to consider these types of insurance, be it with Sportsman’s Travel, Global Rescue, or some other trip and medical evacuation insurance company. A brochure for each company is included in your pre-trip planning package.

Castafly Travel, LLC and its affiliated companies and agents act only as agents for contractors or owners and outfitters, hotels, airlines, shipowners, and charter air carriers providing means of transportation or other services. All tickets, vouchers and contracts of such hotels, airlines, outfitters, lodges, operators and owners are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which such accommodations, means of transportation or other services are offered or provided, and the issuance and acceptance of any such tickets, vouchers and contracts shall be deemed to be consent to their further conditions.
Castafly Travel, LLC and any of its affiliated or associated companies or agents shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such hotels or lodges, means of transportation or other services, or for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect to any person or property however caused or arising out of your vacation booked through our company.
Itinerary alterations.
Castafly Travel reserves the right to make such alterations in the itinerary as it deems in its discretion, necessary or desirable, to refuse to accept or retain as a member of the party any person at any time (in such case refund will be based on the actual cost of the unfinished portion of tour) and to pass on to tour clients expenditures caused by delays or offense beyond our control.
Cancellation.
Castafly Travel, LLC reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case full refund will constitute full settlement to the client.
